Position Overview:
As a Freelance App Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for seamlessly integrating third-party services, APIs, and functionalities into our neo banking app. You will work closely with our development, product, and design teams to understand integration requirements, implement solutions, and ensure a cohesive user experience. This role requires a strong technical background, expertise in mobile app development, and a passion for delivering high-quality, user-friendly solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Integration Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze integration requirements, define integration workflows, and develop implementation strategies for integrating third-party services and features into our mobile banking app.

2. API Integration: Design, develop, and implement APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) to facilitate seamless communication and data exchange between our banking app and external systems, including payment gateways, financial aggregators, identity verification services, and more.

3. Third-Party Integration: Configure and integrate third-party SDKs (Software Development Kits), libraries, and plugins into our mobile app to enable additional features, such as biometric authentication, personal finance management tools, budgeting apps, and loyalty programs.

4. Data Mapping and Transformation: Define data mapping and transformation processes to ensure consistency and compatibility between data formats and structures used by our banking app and external systems, ensuring accurate and reliable data exchange.

5. Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct comprehensive testing of integrated systems and functionalities to identify and resolve any issues related to functionality, performance, security, and user experience, ensuring a seamless and error-free integration.

6. Documentation and Training: Create detailed documentation, integration guides, and training materials to support developers, testers, and support teams in understanding and utilizing integrated systems, APIs, and functionalities effectively.

7. Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance metrics, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to enhance the overall performance, scalability, and reliability of integrated solutions, ensuring a smooth and responsive user experience.

Qualifications

– Proven experience as an App Integration Engineer or similar role, with a focus on integrating third-party services and functionalities into mobile apps, preferably in the fintech or neo banking industry.
– Strong proficiency in mobile app development technologies, including iOS and Android platforms, as well as programming languages such as Swift, Kotlin, Java, or React Native.
– Extensive experience working with REST APIs, OAuth authentication protocols, and other web services technologies for integrating external systems and services into mobile apps.
– Familiarity with API management platforms, API gateways, and API documentation tools such as Swagger or Postman.
– Solid understanding of software development best practices, version control systems (e.g., Git), and agile methodologies.
– Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
– Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
