I’m Ned Phillips. I have 33 years Fintech experience in sales and management. All of my career has been covering Asia, based in Hong Kong and for the last 20 years Singapore. I have been at C level positions since 2006. I specialise in selling wealth and equity trading technology.

Experience

I worked for E*TRADE, Singapore Exchange, Credit Lyonnais, and ran my own start up Bambu for 8 years. I have generated over US$75 million in sales for the companies I worked for. I built numerous wealthtech products from scratch. I have managed teams of over 100 in size. I have built a strong brand as the go to person for sales, marketing and growth in Fintech in Asia.

Achievements

I have done 25,000 sales meetings in my career. Have presented at 100+ on stage events. I run my own podcast that has 110+ episodes and a weekly newsletter with over 10,000 subscribers. I have a network across C Level at banks, asset managers, brokerages, and fintech firms in Asia and to an extent globally, especially Middle East and USA.

Currently

I now help finance and technology companies with sales, marketing and product delivery. For technology companies I focus on go to market and growing revenue in Asia, and the Middle East. For financial institutions I focus on product innovation, project delivery and vendor selection.

Personal

I run further than I should for my age. At 54 years old I ran 213k in 37 hours straight. At 55 I represented Singapore in the World Championships of Backyard Ultra running, coming 3rd overall in Singapore, running 187k in 28 hours. I am now 56, still competing, and every birthday I am running my age in kilometres. I aim to do that all the way till I am 99.
